Everything you need to know to get the most from your trail.

What's inside your KML file?

The KML file you buy isn't just a line on a map. It's packed with information about the region:

  • Full route — the exact path of the trail with precise GPS coordinates.
  • Points of interest (POIs) — viewpoints, waterfalls, shelters, water sources, cave entrances, campsites and other highlights along the way.
  • Elevation data — see climbs and descents so you can prepare physically.

Why do we use Organic Maps?

We recommend opening your KML in Organic Maps — a free, open-source maps app built for trail lovers.

Works 100% offline

Once you download the region's map, you don't need internet on the trail. Ideal for remote areas with no signal.

Privacy guaranteed

Organic Maps does not track your location for commercial purposes, shows no ads, and doesn't collect your personal data.

Battery friendly

Compared to other navigation apps, Organic Maps uses far less battery — essential for long hikes.

Detailed topo
